2021 Durango

The entry-level trim is the SXT. It comes with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, and LED fog lights. The GT adds 20-inch alloy wheels, a black grille, and black window trim, and if you step up to the R/T, you'll get a sunroof and LED accent lights. Another step up to the Citadel adds chrome exterior trim elements and the Trailer Tow Group IV. The SRT and the SRT Hellcat add Brembo brakes and an adaptive suspension. Dodge offers the Blacktop Package for most trims, with black painted wheels and black exterior trim elements.

The entry-level SXT gets power from a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine that puts out 295 horsepower. Bumping up to the R/T gets you a 5.7-liter V-8 engine that makes 360 horsepower, and if you have the SRT, it uses a 6.4-liter V-8 that generates 475 horsepower. If this isn't enough power, the Hellcat version comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 with 710 horsepower.

The Durango Hellcat is the most powerful SUV you can get. It can accelerate up to 60 mph in only 3.5 seconds and can reach 180 mph. No matter which Durango you have, it will offer a smooth and comfortable ride, and if you need it for towing, it can handle up to 7,400 pounds with the 5.7-liter V-8 and up to 8,700 pounds with the new Tow N Go package.

The base trim has room for five. The rest of the trims come with three rows and space for up to seven. Stepping up to the mid-level R/T makes cabin features such as a heated steering wheel, heated front and second-row seats, and power-adjustable front seats standard. The Citadel adds ventilated front seats, and it comes with nappa leather and simulated suede upholstery. Stepping up to the SRT gets you a sporty flat-bottomed steering whee and heated and ventilated front seats.

Technology starts with an 8.4-inch touch screen, the Uconnect 4C system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. The new 10.1-inch touch screen comes in the R/T, and this trim also gets Uconnect 5, wireless smartphone charging, navigation, Amazon Alexa, and an upgraded stereo system.

Every Durango comes standard with a rearview camera. The GT adds rear parking sensors, and it offers the option for a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. The GT also offers the Technology Group, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Citadel makes the blind-spot monitor standard, and the higher trims also offer the Technology Package if you want the extra advanced safety features.
