2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The entry-level Grand Cherokee Laredo has 17-inch wheels, keyless ignition, fog lights, and automatic headlights. The E sub-trim adds roof rails, or you can bump up to the Limited for an auto-dimming driver's side exterior mirror and the option for a panoramic sunroof. The Trailhawk has 18-inch wheels, an air suspension, and all-terrain tires, while the Overland adds 20-inch wheels and xenon headlights.

Choose the Summit for chrome exterior trim elements or the SRT for a high-performance braking system, unique 20-inch alloy wheels, and a sport-tuned adaptive suspension. At the top of the Grand Cherokee lineup, the Trackhawk has 20-inch black-painted alloy wheels, black exterior trim elements, and high-performance brakes.

Jeep offers several engines for the Grand Cherokee. The base is a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine with 295 horsepower. A 5.7-liter V-8 is optional and will get 360 horsepower, or if you have the SRT, it comes with a 6.4-liter V-8 that puts out 470 horsepower. The Trackhawk has even more power and comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 707 horsepower.

The Grand Cherokee is versatile, with a trim and engine for any circumstance. Most trims come standard with rear-wheel drive, with one of Jeep's all-wheel-drive systems available, and if you have the Trailhawk, it comes standard with four-wheel drive. All models have a suspension that keeps them stable when taking tight corners, and the strong brakes provide confidence whether on the highway or tackling mountain roads. When equipped with the V-8 engine, the Grand Cherokee can tow up to 7,200 pounds.

The Grand Cherokee has two rows and room for five. Some features in the cabin include cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Limited adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, leather upholstery, and driver's seat memory settings, and you'll get upgraded leather in the Summit, along with active noise cancellation.

Technology features start with a 7-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An 8.4-inch touch screen comes in the Limited, which also gets a Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio, and the option for a nine-speaker stereo system. The Summit upgrades the stereo to a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system, and depending on the trim; you can also get navigation.

Every 2021 Grand Cherokee comes with a rearview camera, a blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Summit adds a forward-collision warning system with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and a parallel parking assist system. It also adds lane-departure warning as a standard feature. Rain-sensing windshield wipers are an available safety feature depending on the trim. All these safety features are also available as an option for the lower trims as part of the ProTech II Package.
